- Winds pick up dramatically in Jomsom after 11:00 AM; flights and road journeys are always planned for early morning hours.
- Respect temple sanctum rules: leather belts, wallets, and bags must be removed before entering Pashupatinath main temple.
- Carry sufficient small-denomination Indian notes (₹100) or exchange for Nepalese Rupees (NPR).
