What It's Really Like Travelling to Kedarnath With a Group

Trekking to Kedarnath isn't just about reaching a temple at 11,750 feet. It is a raw test of endurance, spirit, and emotion that hits differently when shared with a group of positive souls.

I still remember our June batch — 14 people from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune who had never met before. By Day 2 at Gaurikund base, everyone was checking up on each other's water bottles and sharing energy bars.

As dusk fell near the shrine, the temple lights lit up against the towering snow-covered Kedar peak. Standing together in the cold mountain air, tears in our eyes and warm chai cups in hand, we knew this memory would stay with us forever.

“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer in stories, perspective, and friendships.”
